This is how the conversation started....
Me: "OH MY GOODNESS MOM!! I have discovered something amazing that I'm totally going to utilize in my class next year!!"
Mother: "REALLLLY, What is it??"
Me: "INTERACTIVE NOTEBOOKS!!...." And before I could even share my excitement the 20 year teaching veteran said this....
Mother: "OH THOSE! They have been around for years!
My little balloon was totally deflated. I had just discovered these little treasures and come to find out they've been around for years apparently. Don't you just love when things like this happen...
I've have been using interactive notebooks in my classroom for the past couple of years. I WISH I had found these sooner!! Interactive Notebooks in the classroom have been so wonderful. It's so nice to be able to have all of their work in one central location. Now granted I do teach high schoolers and they do whine and complain about them, but to be honest I feel that high school kids whine about everything.
There was one tiny problem though when I first started this IN adventure... figuring out exactly what and how to implementing IN into my lessons. Pinterest was overwhelming!! So many cute ideas and crafty foldables. I searched forever on Teachers Pay Teachers for something that was related to my subject area, but when you teach Ag I find that nine times out of ten you have to create your material for class. Which can be so exhausting... Who has time for that?? Needless to say I've made time to create templates and mold my lessons to fit my IN needs.

Here are a few helpful links. The link to my TPT Store and a one other that was helpful when I stared using INs.
